Creamy Cashew Nut Sauce with Kelp Noodles

Preparation:  Soak the nuts for about 4 hours to help soften them even more so that they blend up into this very creamy sauce.  Tip them into your blender and add the following ingredients.



Method:  Blend thoroughly until smooth and empty into a bowl.


2 packets of Kelp Noodles (454gms/16oz) Preparation


Empty 2 large packets of raw Kelp Noodles into a bowl of water and rinse to remove the salty water that they came packaged in.  Tip the water off and dry the noodles on a towel or paper towel.  Place on a chopping board and roughly chop them then place into the bowl with the Creamy Cashew Nut Sauce. 


Mix the two well together until thoroughly combined.  If you serve this dish up now the noodles will be slightly crunchy.  If you want to let the dish sit for around an hour or two the noodles will soften to the consistency of standard cooked noodles.


Serve with salad or steamed greens for a nourishing main course meal.  This recipe will serve 6 - 8
